<strong>HIGH</strong>-PERFORMANCE T8 SYSTEMS:<br />

High-Performance T8 (HPT8) lamp and ballast systems provide<br />

energy savings and longer lamp life.<br />

By choosing the appropriate HPT8 lamp and ballast combination<br />

customers can get up to 20% energy savings with the same<br />

amount of light as a standard T8 system.<br />

Does <strong>Efficiency</strong> <strong>Vermont</strong> offer rebates for “reduced-wattage” 4-foot T8 lamps, such as the Sylvania<br />

SuperSaver T8, GE ULTRA Watt-Miser T8, or Philips F25T8 Energy Advantage?<br />

Yes, through a custom rebate. “Reduced-wattage” products, usually labeled as F30T8, F28T8, and F25T8, do not always provide the<br />

same benefits as the F32T8 HPT8 system. Please contact <strong>Efficiency</strong> <strong>Vermont</strong> for more information regarding these custom rebates.<br />

Can other ballast factors and combinations of qualifying products be used?<br />

Yes, if you include illuminance (foot-candle) calculations with your incentive application. HPT8 systems with different ballast<br />

factors can be used to efficiently produce more light or less light than standard T8s. Foot-candle calculations allow customers<br />

to better control the amount of light, helping to ensure that a space is not over- or under-lit.<br />
