John started clowning<br />
at eight years old,<br />
mentored by Portland’s<br />
own Rusty Nails. Despite hanging up his<br />
clown shoes to focus on musical theater,<br />
John’s bag of tricks stays close at hand.<br />
The worlds of Robin Hood, Annie, Don’t<br />
Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Pinocchio<br />
(for which he received a PAMTA for<br />
Outstanding Actor), Goodnight Moon,<br />
Alice in Wonderland, Hansel and Gretel,<br />
Go, Dog. Go! and others have offered<br />
opportunities to play with uniquely<br />
talented casts. Enjoy!<br />

Melanie Hall<br />
Accordion<br />
Melanie is thrilled to be<br />
at Northwest Children’s<br />
Theater! Next month<br />
she will begin her<br />
seventh summer as an actor/musician<br />
in Denali National Park, Alaska. In<br />
Portland, Melanie recently appeared as<br />
the Cheshire Cat in Alice & Wonderland:<br />
A Rock Opera at Oregon Children’s<br />
Theatre. Also at OCT: The True Story of<br />
the 3 Little Pigs, Giggle Giggle Quack, and<br />
Petite Rouge. Originally from Lincoln,<br />
Nebraska, Melanie graduated from<br />
Illinois Wesleyan University with a<br />
B.F.A. in Music Theater.<br />

Grover Hollway<br />
Red Dog<br />
This is Grover’s ninth<br />
NWCT mainstage<br />
performance. Previous<br />
shows include Don’t Let<br />
the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Narnia, Sleeping<br />
Beauty, and Red Dog in NWCT’s last<br />
version of Go, Dog. Go! In addition, he<br />
has been a part of Teens NW, Kid’s<br />
Company NW, KidsPro NW, and Interns<br />
NW. He is a senior at Wilson High School<br />
where he enjoys overbooking himself<br />
with AP classes, performing with the<br />
Wilsingers Choir, and organizing social<br />
LAN gaming events.<br />
Bryan Kinder<br />
Black & White Dog<br />
Bryan is very excited<br />
to return to Go, Dog.<br />
Go! after appearing as<br />
Orange Dog in the 2008<br />
production. He has also been seen as<br />
Friar Tuck in Robin Hood and in the<br />
ensemble of Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the<br />
Bus! He thanks Sarah Jane and John for<br />
this amazing opportunity, and dedicates<br />
this performance to Mary Rochon for<br />
being his big sis.<br />
Alan H. King<br />
Bass<br />
Alan has worked in<br />
many Portland area<br />
productions for over<br />
30 years. He has been<br />
playing the bass since third grade, and<br />
played in many productions including:<br />
Pump Boys and Dinettes, Smoke on<br />
the Mountain, Closer Then Ever, Tony<br />
and Tina’s Wedding, Go, Dog. Go! and<br />
Petite Rouge. Most recently with NWCT<br />
Alan performed as Geppeto in Pinocchio,<br />
and is happy to join NWCT again for Go,<br />
Dog. Go!<br />
