Plasti-Fab products are fabricated from highly corrosion resistant composite fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP)

For over forty years Plasti-Fab has been supplying steel/foam core gate products with an encapsulating
composite corrosion barrier for highly corrosive fluid environments. All Plasti-Fab heavy duty gates and
stop logs are infusion molded to totally encapsulate the internal steel structure. Plasti-Fab composite fluid
control equipment offers high corrosion resistance, low maintenance and no need for wall thimbles due
to their reduced weight characteristics. In addition, they are non-binding, non-conductive, non-magnetic
and pound-for-pound stronger than steel alternatives. Plasti-Fab gates are engineered and built to order.

Plasti-Fab Parshall Flumes have a wide flow range providing the
ability to capture variable low and peak flow readings in a single
flume. Parshall Flumes range from 1-inch to 50-foot throat sizes
and provide great resolution. Integral Gages are included for visual
fluid level checks. Fully customized applications include Nested and
Staged Flumes, Magic Bottoms, Inlet & Outlet Adapters, Wingwalls
and Bulkheads along with a full range of options and accessories.
Palmer-Bowlus Flumes
Plasti-Fab Palmer-Bowlus Flumes have a wide throat and short length
making them ideal for pipe hookups. Palmer-Bowlus Flumes are
economical and easy to install in manholes and pipelines. Standard
sizes range from 4-inch to 72-inch throats which all have a high
submergence tolerance. Integral Gages are included for visual fluid
level checks. Fully customized applications include Insert, Nested
and Rubber Tire Flumes, Integral Approach Sections, Pipe Stubs and
Bulkheads along with a full range of options and accessories.
Trapezoidal Flumes
H-Flumes
Plasti-Fab Trapezoidal Flumes are low profile and provide excellent
low flow resolution. This provides the ability to obtain repeatable,
accurate measurement in flows down to 1 GPM to meet stringent
requirements. Integral Gages are included for visual fluid level checks.
Economical flumes available in 11 standard sizes. Fully customized
applications include Adapters with Pipe Stubs or Caulking Collars,
and Access Boxes along with a full range of options and accessories.
Plasti-Fab H Flumes have the widest flow range and a high tolerance
for velocity. H-Flumes have a usable range of more than 100:1, and
range in size from 0.4 to 4.5 feet deep. Integral Gages are included
for visual fluid level checks. Fully customized applications include
Integral Approach Sections, End Walls for Approach with Collar, Stub,
or staged to bolt to a vault wall, and Tranquilizing Racks along with a
full range of options and accessories.

Flow Moderation
Plasti-Fab has a variety of Flow Moderation Products designed for fluid control in corrosive environments.
Composite FRP products offer a low-cost, long-lasting alternative to metal and concrete products, are
pound-for-pound much stronger, require less cleaning and maintenance and are warranted for 25 years.

The full range of precision engineered fluid control
gates are available with manual or motor operation.
STORM Manhole
An energy absorbing plate calms the velocity of the
incoming flow. The integral wing walls then funnel the
reduced velocity fluid into the exit pipe to continue on
to a Plasti-Fab flume or other downstream system.

Plasti-Fab designed this unique system to trap
incoming solids in removable baskets and separate
oil from the water. Baskets are removable and easy
to maintain. Manholes can be provided with baskets
and oil/water separators individually, or combined.
Troughs & Weir Plates
Rotating Scum Skimmers are available for new
basins or retrofit applications. Plasti-Fab Composite
FRP Skimmers may be engineered for manual or
motorized operation. Plasti-Fab is experienced in
designing systems for diverse installation criteria.
Floating Decanters
Plasti-Fab fiberglass Launders and backwash Troughs
are typically designed for clarifiers and gravity filter
systems in water/wastewater treatment plants. Long
lasting Troughs are available in all sizes with flat,
round, or V-shaped bottoms. Weir Plates and Scum
Baffles are available for FRP or concrete troughs.
Plasti-Fab Floating Decanters offer a unique solution
to control fluid levels. A built-in baffle plate allows
gravity to draw fluid off without any surface debris.
Fluid is drawn from below the surface and behind
the scum baffle. No need to determine the settled
sludge level. A dependable hands-off operation.

Flow Measurement
Plasti-Fab Packaged Metering Manholes (PMMs) are watertight one-piece construction with an integral
bottom. They weigh only a fraction of comparable concrete or steel manholes and are extremely resistant
to chemicals, saltwater, corrosive soils, ground water and electrolysis. Manhole bottoms are a dual-layer
construction to prevent oil canning and provide a flat installation surface.
Packaged Metering Manhole tops may be designed for street covers to meet H-20 highway loading, or with
hinged FRP lids and lockable hasps, or with aluminum hatches for water/gas tight applications, or completely
customized. The Manhole interior is premium isophthalic white gelcoat that provides a smooth non-porous
surface to resist bacteria for a cleaner workspace and to allow for maximum illumination.
All hardware is heavy-duty stainless steel. Anchor tabs are mechanically fastened and molded to the barrel to
ensure a secure installation. Pipe stubs are built to match the ID and OD of the mating pipe. Invert elevations
can be designed to meet the elevation of the pipes in the field. Manholes can be fully customized with a
complete range of options and accessories.

using a Mag Meter instead of a Flume. Customer
supplied Mag Meters are expertly installed at the
Plasti-Fab factory making the field installation
