Major Achievements <strong>of</strong> RCC during the period 2010-11<br />
Infrastructure Development<br />
• A new Blood Irradiator machine aimed at minimizing transfusion reations in bone marrow trans<br />
plant patients is purchased as a part <strong>of</strong> infrastructure upgradation.<br />
• An underground water storage facility <strong>of</strong> 15 lakh litres capacity was commissioned<br />
to tackle the long standing water scarcity.<br />
Social Services<br />
• Free treatment were provided to tribal people, BPL families and children less than 18 years <strong>of</strong> age<br />
through different schemes such as Tribal Project, Cancer Suraksha Mission, Rashtriya<br />
Suraksha Scheme and Thalolam.<br />
• Conducted several campaigns for the the promotion <strong>of</strong> our ‘Cancer Care for Life’.<br />
