The Secret to Cellular PVC<br />
Solid construction of cellular PVC throughout gives a no-rot performance and the<br />
traditional look of painted wood.<br />

What is the secret to Legend’s long-lasting success It’s cellular PVC, a vinyl extruded<br />
through a cutting-edge process to improve density. The end result is a highly-engineered,<br />
high-endurance material with the look of painted wood, but without the drawbacks<br />
of natural fibers. That means rain or shine, Legend windows resist cracks, swelling and<br />
all those other little surprises of nature. We are so confident in our product that we<br />
guarantee all exterior components for 25 years, and 20 years on insulated glass . The<br />
material can be bent to build virtually any custom radius product. Cellular PVC is<br />
also easily painted* – something you just can’t do with hollow vinyl products.<br />
*For exterior paint applications, Windsor does not recommend the application of paints with an LRV rating of 54 or lower.<br />
For darker paint colors with an LRV rating of 54 or lower, you must use a product that has been specifically developed<br />
for application on PVC and follow the paint manufacturer’s recommendations. Windsor is not liable for paint used on our<br />

The Windsor glazing system fabrication line uses high performance material from Cardinal Glass Industries, long recognized<br />
as an industry leader. The units produced on our glass line feature 3/4" dual pane LoE 2 insulated glass with argon gas and are<br />
designed to meet or exceed Energy Star guidelines in all zones.<br />
L o E 2 Glass features<br />
Our LoE 2 glass features a coating and argon gas, which alters the way glass transmits visible light. LoE 2 helps reduce heat loss<br />
in the winter and heat gain in the summer. It also greatly reduces ultraviolet light so your furniture, drapes and carpet won’t<br />
fade as quickly. And, most importantly, it creates a more comfortable home.<br />
Legend CPVC Versus Vinyl<br />
Even if you are only replacing a few windows in your home, Legend windows<br />
offer several advantages over traditional vinyl replacement windows. Many times<br />
vinyl replacements cover up a rotting frame or exterior casings. They also reduce<br />
your glass size. Legend maintains your glass size and provides a beautiful window<br />
that can be painted.*<br />

Our Legend HBR patio doors combine the strength and durability of a primed frame with an aluminum clad wood<br />
sash. This means you’ll get a combination of color, strength and architectural detail. You can also choose from a<br />
variety of grille types, patterns and 10 hardware finishes, including brass, antique brass, oil rubbed bronze, antique<br />
nickel, brushed chrome, polished chrome, white, black, faux bronze and satin nickel.<br />
Our patio doors come in in-swing or French slider models – you just choose what’s right for you. For the in-swing<br />
model, you can select one or two panels to operate, with up to four panels in one frame. For our French slider,<br />
you can also select up to four panels, depending on the look you want to achieve.<br />
