In pursuance to the Notification cited at reference-4, the recruitment
process to fill up 50 posts of Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratory
(FSL) was initiated by adhering all the procedures laid down in the Cadre and
Recruitment Rules, published vide Government Notification cited at reference-1.
As per the recruitment notification applications from the eligible candidates were
invited through on-line from 17.12.2012 to 30.1.2013.
2. Whereas, as laid down in the Cadre and Recruitment Rules, the selection of
the candidates for the above posts has to be made by the Committee duly
constituted for the same. Accordingly, a preliminary meeting was conducted on
19.11 .2072 and it was decided to complete the recruitment process after taking
in to account the views of the experts in the Selection Committee. Further as
decided in the preliminary meeting, all the members of the Selection Committee
again conducted a meeting from 4.3.2013 to 6.3.2013 in order to complete the
recruitment process. As the recruitment process was not completed on the above
mentioned dates the members of the Selection Committee finally conducted the
meeting on 19.3.2013 and 2O.3.2OI3.

3. Whereas, after taking into consideration the views of the experts in the
Selection Committee on the above mentioned dates the Provisional Select List of
the successful candidates for the post of Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science
Laboratory (FSL) is prepared and is as follows:
PROVISIONAL SELECT LIST
The following is the Provisional Select List of the candidates in order of
merit selected for the post of Scientific Assistant in Forensic Science Laboratory
(FSL).
a) The fact that the name of the candidates figures in this list does not give
him/her any legal right for appointment to the post which will be
dependent on the verification of all the documents including the Character
and Antecedent.
b) The Select List is subject to the final decision of the Hon'lcle Karnataka
Administrative Tribunals / Honble Courts, if any.
