Folk Choir<br />

We have been singing at the 7.30 p.m. Mass on Saturday<br />

evening for the past two years. We would like new voices (aged<br />

The “Thank you” day<br />

to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Mayo Roscommon<br />

Hospice which was due to take place on 21 July has been postponed<br />

due to unforseen circumstances. A rescheduled date for<br />

the event has yet to be finalised for either the end of<br />

September or beginning of October.<br />

<strong>Knock</strong> Summer Festival<br />

is on Saturday the 28th July. It is for all 17-30 year olds. It is a chance<br />

to explore, ignite and celebrate your faith. The day is free of charge.<br />

Speakers include Fr. Conall O’Cuinn, John Lonergan and Bishop<br />

Annual Pilgrimage to Croagh Patrick<br />

takes place on Sunday 29th July. Confessions on the summit from<br />

7.30 a.m. - 2.00 p.m. The first Mass on the summit will be at 8.00<br />

a.m.and every half hour with the last Mass being celebrated at 2.00<br />

p.m.The pilgrimage will be lead by Most Rev. Michael Neary,<br />

Archbishop ofTuam, who this year will be joined by the Apostolic<br />

Nuncio to Ireland, His Excellency Most Rev. Charles Brown.<br />
