STATE QUEEN CONTEST

DEAR CONTESTANT:
CONGRATULATIONS on qualifying for the Utah State High school Rodeo Queen Contest. This
letter contains the agenda and biography. State Horsemanship pattern can be found also on
web site, under patterns. Proportions of your biography will be read during modeling and
horsemanship. You MUST only use the official UHSRA biography. No other resume, computer
altered additional pages or colored paper will be accepted. Type or print only. Send biography
and a 5x7 photo (head and shoulder shot only) to the address below or e- mail to ttglsn@aol.com
by May 20th.
The cost for the luncheon will be $8.00 per person. Contestant’s lunch is included. Reservation
with payment is due the same time as the biography. Please note that everyone has to be
prepaid before the contest.
The contests rules and regulations are outlined in the UHSRA RULE BOOK. Please read carefully
and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to call.

4:00PM TO 5:30PM: Practice for all contestants. (No judges) A set time will be given for
each contestant to have use of Auditorium to practice. 5:45 Parent/contestant meeting.
TUESDAY 11 TH
6:00PM Pizza party for all contestants. (No Parents or family)

jeans- see rule book.

REMINDER—You will be given your draw position Monday evening and this will
be your draw throughout the competition, with a reverse order for
horsemanship.

5:00pm: Farewell speech and ride: 2012/2013 state queen Taylor Anderson.
