Auction and Dinner, celebrating 25 years of auctions at Tampa Prep! I welcome 

you and look forward to enjoying the evening with the friends and families of 

Tampa Preparatory School. 

This evening would not have been possible without the leadership of JOURNEY 

Auction Chair Laurel Fredlake, and the hardworking volunteers who have 

generously given of their time to plan, create and bring to life this wonderful 

event. I have attended the Auction committee’s meetings from time to time and 

I continue to be impressed by their dedication, thoughtfulness and efforts on 

behalf of the school. The volunteers have worked tirelessly, hand-in-hand with 

our Development Department and I cannot thank them enough for all they have 

done, and continue to do, to support the school. 

To our patrons, donors, faculty, administrators, families, community businesses 

and supporters who have contributed goods and services to this evening, 

we cannot thank you enough for your support and for the auction items that 

contribute to the success of the evening. 

The proceeds of the evening contribute to the continued improvement and

the children who have passed through the doors of Tampa Prep, past, present 

and future. We celebrate the bright future they promise.

Each participant/couple will have a personal bid number that 

must be used for all bidding. 

• All sales are final. All items are sold “as is” and are nontransferable. 

Tampa Preparatory School assumes no risk, liability 

or responsibility for the authenticity or authorship of any property 

identified herein.

No item may be exchanged or returned to the store or individual 

who donated it, except where specified. 

• Values listed for each item being auctioned are the donor’s 

estimates and are not warranted by Tampa Preparatory School 

for tax purposes or general value.

Items may be picked up from each category booth by producing 

a PAID receipt for each item. 

All auction items must be removed from the premises the evening 

of the auction unless prior arrangements are made. 

• Payment by the successful bidder is mandatory that evening. 

Payment may be made in cash, by check or with Visa or 

MasterCard. No refunds will be issued. 

• 

Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. 

• Each increase in bid must equal or exceed the minimum increase 

figure stated on the bid sheet in order to constitute a valid bid. If 

a minimum raise is not made, that silent auction bid will be 

disqualified.

Only an authorized person may nullify a bid. No bids may be 

crossed out or erased. 

Please fill in each silent auction bid sheet completely. You must 

list your bid number clearly.

Individuals must use only the bid number assigned to them. This 

number is each participant’s identification. 

• The auctioneer will acknowledge the high bidder. If the auctioneer 

determines that an opening bid or any subsequent bid is not 

commensurate with the value of the item(s) offered, he may 

reject the same and withdraw the item(s) from sale, and if having 

acknowledged an opening bid, he decides that an advance 

thereafter is not of sufficient amount, he may reject the advance. 

The auctioneer retains the right to add or delete any item. The 

auctioneer reserves the right to announce conditions of sale at 

any time. In the event of any dispute, the auctioneer will have 

sole and final discretion in these matters. 

Every effort has been made to describe auction items accurately. 

However, all items are sold “as is,” and are nontransferable. The 

organization and auctioneer cannot guarantee the condition or 

authenticity of items and makes no warranties or representation of 

any kind or nature for any item sold. By purchasing an item, the buyer
