Every fall, Middle School History teacher Mike Fowler experiences waves of<br />

despair when teaching about Pocahontas. He believes that Disney has taken<br />

her real story <strong>and</strong> turned it into a twisted tale featuring freaky hummingbirds, a<br />

talking tree, <strong>and</strong> a version of Pocahontas who resembles a runway supermodel.<br />

The winning bidder can invite five friends to watch both Pocahontas I <strong>and</strong> II<br />

with Mr. Fowler <strong>and</strong> learn from him as he dissects the movies, pointing out all<br />

the historical discrepancies in them. Themed snacks will be served under the<br />

shade of Gr<strong>and</strong>mother Willow. Date to be mutually agreed upon.<br />
