1. Canadian organisati<strong>on</strong>s should ensure adequate focus <strong>on</strong> <strong>the</strong> governance <strong>of</strong><br />
EA, where <strong>the</strong> right GE<strong>IT</strong> mechanisms can ensure a focus <strong>on</strong> agility and<br />
flexibility to enable more rapid business change<br />
2. While more Canadian resp<strong>on</strong>dents described <strong>the</strong> role <strong>of</strong> <strong>IT</strong> as proactive<br />
compared to <strong>the</strong> global resp<strong>on</strong>dents, it was cited by more <strong>IT</strong> than business<br />
resp<strong>on</strong>dents<br />
3. The most important initiatives planned by Canadian resp<strong>on</strong>dents in <strong>the</strong><br />
next 12 m<strong>on</strong>ths all require significant business-<strong>IT</strong> interacti<strong>on</strong> and an optimal<br />
decisi<strong>on</strong>-making model which can ensure <strong>the</strong> involvement <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> right<br />
stakeholders in <strong>the</strong> best possible way.<br />

it is not reported as a significant driver for GE<strong>IT</strong> activities.<br />
5. Canadian organizati<strong>on</strong>s are cognizant <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> influence <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> culture <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
organizati<strong>on</strong>, its way <strong>of</strong> working, and human factors <strong>on</strong> GE<strong>IT</strong><br />
