SHAPE does not recommend the developing of MOR for ADS-B and WAM
technologies.The systems are neither secure nor jam resistance, and cannot
be considered as combat Identification (ID). However, it would be beneficial
for NATO aircraft to adopt such systems for future airspace management
to enhanced flight safety and efficiency as peacetime air traffic
management will be considered as a single entity (no longer divided into
civilian and military)
