REGISTRATION INFORMATION<br />

1. Player rosters may be mailed, faxed or dropped off with the appropriate roster fee ($399 or $298 for teams with 100% City residents).<br />

Mailed or faxed rosters must be received no later than (1) week prior to the first scheduled game at the W.P.R.F. Office. NO FEES,<br />

<strong>ROSTER</strong>S, OR PLAYER ADD CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE FIELD OF PLAY!<br />

2. All the information [name, address, driver’s license, worker/student (if applicable) phone] requested about players must be filled out<br />

<strong>com</strong>pletely and may be filled in by the manager. HOWEVER, the player must sign the roster sheet before the player is eligible.<br />

3. Player additions may be made through the last day of registration for the WPRF City Softball Tournament. A player add card must be<br />

filled out and signed by both the player and manager. Anyone can return the player add card and late player fee. The $20.00 late<br />

player fee is charged for any additions made after the first scheduled league game. The late player fee is in addition to the<br />

$20.00 provisional player fee.<br />

4. Maximum 20 players/roster.<br />

POLICY OF ADULT SPORTS:<br />

Article II: Eligibility<br />

2.01 Players who live in Waukesha County. Proof will be a current State of Wisconsin Driver’s License, Voter’s Registration, Wisconsin State I.D., or Non-<br />

Driver’s I.D. Card. Must be indicated on team roster.<br />

2.02 Players who own property in the City of Waukesha. Proof of eligibility will be a current tax bill.<br />

2.03 Players who work full-time in the City of Waukesha; and, for basketball and volleyball only, if a player works within the boundaries of the Waukesha School<br />

District. If questioned, proof will be determined by a letter from the Personnel Manager.<br />

2.04 Players who go to school full-time in the City (12 credits or more per semester). If questioned, proof will be a letter from the Registrar’s Office.<br />

2.05 Age minimum: 16 Years Old. Proof of eligibility will be determined by the W.P.R.F. Office.<br />

2.06 PROVISIONAL PLAYERS: Teams may carry up to three (3) players who do not live in Waukesha County and do not meet any of the other eligibility<br />

requirements. These provisional players must be indicated on the roster sheet and the team must pay an additional $20.00 per provisional player. Proof<br />

will be a current State of Wisconsin Driver’s License or State of Wisconsin I.D., or Non-Driver’s I.D. and will be stated on team roster. Teams that have<br />

more than three (3) provisional players may enter a league with openings as a non-resident team. See League Capacity Policy, Article III Registration,<br />

Rule 3.07.<br />

2.07 <strong>SOFTBALL</strong> ONLY: United and Industrial League Teams.<br />

A. Each church sponsoring a team in the United Leagues must be located in the City of Waukesha and players must be members of that church. These<br />

teams will be allowed three (3) players who are not members of the church, however they must qualify under 2.01, 2.02, 2.03, 2.04 2.05.<br />

B. Each team in the Industrial League shall have all players working full-time at the plant located in the City of Waukesha that is sponsoring the team.<br />

Non-Industrial teams will be allowed into the Industrial League if it does not fill to capacity.<br />

2.08 Under “Extenuating Circumstances”, an existing player who does not qualify as stated above may make a written request to the Parks, Recreation and<br />

Forestry Staff for an exemption. This request must demonstrate a consistent history of participation, past employment, or past residency in the City of<br />

Waukesha. The W.P.R.F. Department staff will then make the determination if that player qualifies.<br />

2.09 When a player ceases to qualify under any of the eligibility rules, they automatically be<strong>com</strong>e ineligible to play the balance of the season.
