Rapid advances in cloud-based computing, robotics and smart sensors, multimodal modeling and simulation, and advanced

and post-delivery services to shorten the time and cost between idea generation and first successful product-in-hand.

The New England Consortium for Digital Manufacturing and Designwill provide the technology and resources to transform
established manufacturing practices into leading-edge DMD processes. Our goal is to join with industry (especially small-tomedium
enterprises), academia, not-for-profits, and government agencies to develop and disseminate DMD technology and related
business best-practices for truly end-to-end solutions.
