Sound Leisure is proud of its U.K based manufacturing
heritage. Employing in excess of 120 staff we have
remained true to our core principles of supporting local
businesses and people. Sound Leisure has sold over
100,000 units around the World and our products can be
found in some of the finest locations. The skills and
techniques required to manufacture a range of our cabinets
are unique to this plant and have to be taught in house.
With the emphasis on "apprenticeship" style training Sound
Leisure actively encourages the passing on of skills from
one person to another, often from one family member to
the next. As a family owned and run company, the
importance of supporting the family group is among our
highest priorities. This support is repaid many times over by
the commitment and dedication of our colleagues, with a
large number of staff achieving 20 plus years service.
As a major manufacturer Sound Leisure is determined to
achieve and maintain best practice and demonstrate
compliance with all legislation, we were the first company
in the region to be accredited with complying to Electonic
Yorkshire's envirotronix programme which is awarded for
the achievement of responsible manufacturing in the
Electronics Industry. To achieve this Sound Leisure were
audited by a panel of environmental Industry experts and
had to produce evidence that we complied with the WEEE
and ROHS regulations. We are also a member of the Better
Business Environment (BBE) forum which meets to discuss
waste management and resource efficiency. All of our
electronic products are CE certified and comply with the
low voltage and EMC directives whilst our wood based
products are supplied from replenishable forests and a high
proportion of any waste is recycled.

DIGITRACKS II
When the original Digitracks was
launched in August 2004 it quickly
became one of Sound Leisure's most
popular jukebox systems. Originally
benefiting from Sound Surfer technology
the Digitracks can be seen in outlets
worldwide. Since its introduction Sound
Leisure's technology has advanced
beyond comprehension and now the
Digitracks II is also available with
“Milestones in Music” Technology! The
whole touch screen fascia is protected
by Sound Leisure's "screen seal" system,
a polycarbonate layer that safeguards
against scratches, dust, pollution and
vandalism. In addition the Digitracks II
also benefits from Sound Leisure's 4
channel Amplifier allowing 4 sound
zones to be controlled separately.
