BEAUTY OF STEWARDSHIP:
Have we ever asked ourselves why this church of ours
is so miserable and slow The children criticize their
mother for being full of wrinkles, not realizing that
they themselves are the cause of these wrinkles.
Christ loved the church and gave himself for her so
that she would be without spot. And the Church
would be without spot if we were not there. The
Church would have a wrinkle less if I had committed
one sin less. (Rev. Raniero Cantalamessa, OFM Cap, Nothing More
Beautiful catechist, May 5, 2011)
Karon Durand-Pohl kdurand@trinitycatholic.net Facility Manager
Bonnie Fyculak bfyculak@trinitycatholic.net
REFLECTION: Do I build up the Church by forgiving
those who have offended me, remembering that I too have caused her to be wrinkled and stained by my own
sins
ACTION: I will make reparation for my sins by doing an act of kindness for someone I may have hurt.
SCHOOL CHILDREN
Dear Parishoners:
On behalf of Jenn, my sister and all my
family, I want to express our sincere
gratitude and thanks for all your kindness
and support for us on the occasion of
my mother’s death and funeral. As you
heard at the prayers/rosary and the funeral Mass,
mum would have wondered what all the “fuss was
about” but funeral rites are really more for the
mourners than for the mourned. And certainly the
affection and love of you, my parish ‘family’ has
been genuine comfort and strength for both myself
and my sister. Ultimately, it is our faith that
makes us strong and I thank you all for journeying
in faith with us at this time.
Sincerely in our Lord,
Father Paul Terrio
Marriage and Family Corner:
“The Scriptures clearly teach that the sacred
commitment of marriage is intended by God to be
the sacramental sign of His love for His people.
It is revealed and traditionally understood that
through the institution of marriage, God wishes
to reveal to His people the scope and magnitude
of His love for them.”
Dietrich von Hildebrand, “Marriage: the Mystery of Faithful Love” p. XIX
church community to celebrate the memory of someone who was and is a special part of your life. Beginning in July,
