BEAUTY OF STEWARDSHIP:
Have we ever asked ourselves why this church of ours
is so miserable and slow The children criticize their
mother for being full of wrinkles, not realizing that
they themselves are the cause of these wrinkles.
Christ loved the church and gave himself for her so
that she would be without spot. And the Church
would be without spot if we were not there. The
Church would have a wrinkle less if I had committed

my mother’s death and funeral. As you
heard at the prayers/rosary and the funeral Mass,
mum would have wondered what all the “fuss was
about” but funeral rites are really more for the
mourners than for the mourned. And certainly the
affection and love of you, my parish ‘family’ has
been genuine comfort and strength for both myself
and my sister. Ultimately, it is our faith that
makes us strong and I thank you all for journeying

RETROUVAILLE – A program designed to help married couples through the challenging stages of

Holy Trinity Summer Vacation Bible School: July 25 – 29 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Registration
forms are available at the back of the church; on the youth board; the parish office; St. Joseph and John
Paul II school offices. Please return completed forms to the parish or school office by June 23 rd .
Registration is $30.00 per child and is open to any child aged 4 to 11. Older children are welcome to

SACRISTANS ARE NEEDED!! Holy Trinity needs parishioners to volunteer their time for 20
minutes before Mass and 15 minutes after Masses to help behind the scenes get the vessels

We are looking for 5 to 7 volunteers to help move pews for upper window repairs on

WEDNESDAY NIGHT CATECHISM:
This class is for those children of Holy Trinity
Parish who attend public schools, or who are for
whatever reason, not attending a Catholic
school. This program provides religious
instruction for children kindergarten to Grade 6.

PASTORAL NEEDS Do you know of a parishioner in a local nursing home or the hospital
who is wanting to see a priest for Confession, a pastoral visit or would like to receive

Remember our Parish Cookbook - great choice for any of your gift giving occasions. Cost is $15. and are
available at the parish office, with the proceeds going to Debt Retirement. Perfect gift ideas for bridal
showers/weddings, graduations, and for those students leaving home.
With Wedding season coming up don’t forget… The parish cookbooks, available at the parish office
and GIFT CARDS at Holy Trinity: Great for gifts! All you do is purchase a card (similar to a credit
card) for a specific dollar value for your favorite grocery store, hardware store, restaurant, etc., and pay for
your purchase with this card until its value is used. There is no additional cost to the participant. They are sold
at face value. Saves carrying a lot of cash!!! These gift cards are sold at the back of the church in the server after
weekend Masses. Your involvement would be much appreciated. Proceeds will be used for paving the parking lot.
IN MEMORY OF or IN CELEBRATION OF: Holy Trinity Hospitality Ministry extends an invitation to our
church community to celebrate the memory of someone who was and is a special part of your life. Beginning in July,
you can take part in a new way to commemorate that Special Someone by volunteering as a Greeter or Usher at our
Saturday and Sunday Masses. You will be provided with a name tag that displays ‘IN MEMORY OF’ to keep those
memories in the heart of all those lives they touched. We would encourage you to consider celebrating any special event
‘IN CELEBRATION OF’ for an Anniversary, Birth, First Communion, etc. To make arrangements for your
participation, please contact Cliff or Marie Brennan at 780-968-2406. We will try to accommodate as many as possible
with dates of your choosing.
