Lottery for an invitation
to join the naming
ceremony of the
Sibulk Tradition in
Japan
Eitzen Bulk has an extensive Japanese newbuilding
program, related developments and new contracting
are regularly reported on, but this time
our article has a different angle. Each time we take delivery
of a new ship the opportunity is taken to send a
delegation to Japan in order to participate in the ceremonies.
Participants at these ceremonies tend to be from
a core group of the divisions’ senior commercial staff.
However as we work as a team it was decided that the
whole team should get the chance to participate in such
festive ceremonies. Therefore a lottery took place including
all of Eitzen Bulk and Camillo Eitzen Denmark
staff who would normally not be involved in such
events and similarly amongst the staff in Oslo. In consequence
of which we are most pleased to advice the
two lucky winners who participated in this naming ceremony
in Japan were Nicolai Ladewig from the Eitzen
Bulk Period and FFA desk and Andreas Reklev, Financial
Analyst from our Oslo office.
We are sure their participation provided them with numerous
most memorable experiences.
