Favorites at the Costa Trials
Curcuma (Siam Tulip) is native to
Thailand and is a member of a family
with an exotic name: Zingiberaceae!
These striking Zone 10-11 plants are
traditionally grown in the Spring from
bulbs and require very high soil
temperatures to sprout. Our tissue
culture plugs enable growers to skip the
sprouting step, substantially reduce the
finish times, and produce these plants in
Northern greenhouses for summer!
