KVSO’s 45th year will open in a wonderful<br />
venue with some exciting changes. Our new<br />
symphony home is in the beautiful Hawkins<br />
Centennial Chapel on the campus of Olivet<br />
Nazarene University. You will enjoy all the concerts in the<br />
same place with the exception of the chamber music<br />
concert which will be held in the sanctuary of Asbury<br />
United Methodist Church, <strong>Kankakee</strong>. Open seating now<br />
allows you to sit with friends and enjoy music from any<br />
seat in the chapel and two large video screens enable<br />
you to see the orchestra up close. All entrances to the<br />
chapel are easily accessible as well as handicapped<br />
accessible with parking just steps away. All concerts<br />
are Saturday night except the Holiday Concert.<br />
Donor opportunities are available this year with exciting<br />
new benefits. You can support our outstanding orchestra<br />
which includes local and surrounding area musicians<br />
and is currently led by music director/ conductor, Dr.<br />
Allan Dennis, now in his 25th year with the KVSO. Your<br />
contribution will help keep classical music active and<br />
alive here in the <strong>Kankakee</strong> River <strong>Valley</strong>.<br />
