The configuration and control of the DSP 600 is
handled either directly at the device or with the
help of IRIS-Net via Ethernet and / or USB.
An integrated 2-port Ethernet switch makes it possible
to connect the device to a PC directly without
having to rely on the use of an additional external
switch. Furthermore, the control signal can be
passed directly from one device to the next in a
simple daisy-chain arrangement. Under IRIS-Net, the
Device Scan function facilitates the configuration of
the network.
Six predetermined configurations are available plus
freely definable configurations via the 2 x 6 matrix
router:
• 2-way stereo + Fullrange
• 3-way stereo
• 4-way mono + Fullrange
• 5-way mono + Fullrange
• 3-way stereo with a mono sub + Fullrange
• 4-way stereo with mono sub and low frequency
• freely assignable 2 x 6 matrix router
Direct-access keys make it possible to edit parameters
swiftly at the device. In all, 90 program-storage
locations are provided, of which 60 are dedicated to
factory presets and a further 30 available for freely
programmable user presets. The DSP 600 is compatible
with RCM-26 and P 64 speaker settings.
For fixed installation applications, five control inputs
can be used for switching between presets. Level
control displays are provided on the front panel for
the inputs and for all 6 outputs with Limiter and Clip
LEDs along with output mute switches, channel function
indicators SUB, LO, MID, HI and a backlit graphic
display.
For installations and the rental business, the possibility
also exists of either permitting or blocking access
from the front panel to each individual editable parameter.
