MEASUREMENT
With the Model 4000's Fully
automated measurement capabilities,
you need only to get close to a
feature. Simply press the splice loss
button on the front panel and the instrument
does the rest. in less than
five seconds, it automatically
calculates its exact position, and
displays the confidence interval for
the loss measurement.
FAST FIBER
CHARACTERIZATION
The Model 4000's unique splice
loss table automatically Finds all the
Features in a fiber span, performs a
splice loss on each, and then displays
the location, splice loss and
cumulative loss for up to 31 Features
on the Fiber span.
COLOR WAVEFORM HARDCOPY. The
optional 4001 A data logger/plotter
provides color documentation of
waveforms and splice loss tables.
SHARP, CLEAR DISPLA Y. A 6.5-inch
screen shows all waveform and setup
