To close the Preferences window (that is, to shrink
it back into an icon and put it back on the Desktop),
you go to the File/Print menu (Figure 2-1 1). Notice
how the menu pops down over the window. You may
find displays like this a little confusing at first, what
with menus on top of windows on top of the Desktop,
but you'll soon get used to it and won't have any problem,
even when half a dozen windows are overlapping
each other.

in Figure 2-5 to see how they've changed to reflect the
