To close <strong>the</strong> Preferences window (that is, <strong>to</strong> shrink<br />

it back in<strong>to</strong> an icon and put it back on <strong>the</strong> Desk<strong>to</strong>p),<br />

you go <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> File/Print menu (Figure 2-1 1). Notice<br />

how <strong>the</strong> menu pops down over <strong>the</strong> window. You may<br />

find displays like this a little confusing at first, what<br />

with menus on <strong>to</strong>p of windows on <strong>to</strong>p of <strong>the</strong> Desk<strong>to</strong>p,<br />

but you'll soon get used <strong>to</strong> it and won't have any problem,<br />

even when half a dozen windows are overlapping<br />

each o<strong>the</strong>r.<br />

Compare <strong>the</strong> menu items in Figure 2-1 1 with those<br />

in Figure 2-5 <strong>to</strong> see how <strong>the</strong>y've changed <strong>to</strong> reflect <strong>the</strong><br />
