SCHOOL OPENING NOTICE 2013 (Day Scholars)

The following important dates in the school calendar and other relevant information are being brought to your
notice through this circular:
1. OPENING OF SCHOOL
The school re-opening schedule for 2013 is given below:
Classes 10 and 12 on Saturday, 9 February 2013
Classes 5 to 9 on Tuesday, 5 March 2013
Classes 1 to 4 on Wednesday, 6 March 2013
The Principal desires that all parents/ guardians bringing their children to the school for the first time
should meet him personally as follows:-
Classes 5 to 9 on Tuesday, 5 March 2013
Classes 1 to 4 on Wednesday, 6 March 2013_____________________________

Others may contact the Headmistress/ Headmaster provided the names of their children appear on the
“No Dues” list at the Principal’s office.
Students who join school late will be required to pay all dues/ penalties and obtain a clearance from the
school office before they join the hostel. Those returning late will be charged a late fee of Rs. 1000/- per
day.
2. SCHOOL FEES
(i) The final bill/ statement of account for 2012:
Our statement of account for 2012 is enclosed with this notice and you are requested to clear
the dues (if any) immediately and by 15 January 2013, the latest.
(ii) Payment of Advance Fees and other dues for 2013 :
In view of the rising costs, the Board of Management has revised the school fees for 2013 as
given below:
Consolidated fees (for tuition, library, science lab, internal examinations, text books,
stationery, sports & games)
Classes 1 – 6 … ` 36,000/-
Classes 7 – 10 … ` 43,000/-
Classes 11 & 12 (Commerce) … ` 50,000/-
Classes 11 & 12 (Humanities) … ` 50,000/-
Classes 11 & 12 (Science) … ` 64,500/-
Computer Studies:
Classes 1 – 6 … ` 5,000/-
Classes 7 & 8 … ` 6,000/-
Classes 9 & 10 … ` 8,000/-
Classes 11 & 12 … ` 10,000/-
Maintenance of School Equipment … ` 5,000/-
Parents are requested to remit the school fees and other dues in full, as per our advance bill for
2013 enclosed herewith, by 15 January 2013, the latest, failing which the student will not be
granted re-admission to the school. Please note that part payment of fees will not be
accepted by the School office. Payment should be made by cash, Banker’s Cheque or CBS
Cheque drawn in favour of “Principal, Wynberg-Allen School” payable at Mussoorie.
Once school fees have been paid, if the student does not join school or is withdrawn during the
school year, full fees for the year will be charged as per the School rules.
3. Medical Certificate: A Medical Certificate Form is enclosed herewith. Parents must submit the
certificate duly completed, along with the enclosures required, to the Sister in charge of the School
Hospital at the Junior or Senior School, as applicable, at the time the student joins the school. Please

note that your child will not be permitted to join the school unless this form is completed in all
respects and submitted as required. The school will not take responsibility for any undeclared
medical condition of your child.
4. Parents are requested to inform the Principal, in writing, of any change in address, telephone/ mobile
phone/fax/STD/ISD code numbers and emergency contact details as and when these occur.
5. School Rules: Parents must ensure that their children do not bring in or take out anything for the
boarder students in the school, e.g. money, letters, parcels etc. A breach of this rule will result in the
removal of the students concerned from the school. Any student found in possession of a mobile phone
or components thereof (e.g. SIM cards, recharge cards etc.) may be taken off the school rolls.
6. School Uniform: Parents are requested to ensure that all the items of uniform worn by day scholar
students conform to the approved materials and specifications, details of which are available with Jain
Cloth House, Landour, Mussoorie.
7. Student’s Record Card (New admissions only) Parents of new admissions are requested to
complete the attached student’s record card, ensuring that a recently taken coloured photograph of the
child is affixed in the space provided. Record cards should be submitted to the Principal’s Secretary,
when the child joins school.
