Planet's position is given first, and then its result in original sutras in brackets, along with any
comments or verification.
Budha in the 3 rd , gain of money धनलाभवान ् ); Guru in the 5 th , rich (धनवान ् ); Sukra in the 7 th ,
charity (आयर्कान ् ); Ravi in the 8 th , more rich (ौेधनवान ् ); Ravi in the 9 th , rich (धिनकः); Guru in
the 9 th , rich (धिनकः); Sukra in the 9 th , rich (धनवान ् ); Budha in the 9 th , great gains (बलाभवान ् )
Sukra in the 12 th , well placed, great wealth (बधनवान ् ç).
Note.—Most of these readings have been found to be correct during the respective bhava
dasa periods of the natives.
2. Regarding longevity, Ravi, Mars, Budha, Guru and Sukra, etc., if in lagna, or aspecting the
lagna, must also be considered to find out the nearly correct, approximate longevity of the
native. This must be done along with the consideration of planets remaining in or seeing the
8 th .
3. Regarding the birth of daughters, Ravi in lagna indicates female, children (काूज ् ः); Moon
in the 5 th , one son and daughter (ीूजावान ्एक पुऽवान ् ), Sani in the 5 th daughters; if own
house. (क्षेऽेी ूजािसि)
(Note.— This has been verified, for during the bhava dasa period of Sani, a daughter was born
to a native); Mars in the 6 th , sons, but will have daughter in the 27 th
year (पुऽवान ्सिवंशित वष
ककायुतः). This has also been verified during the Labha dasa period of Mars in the 6 th .
4. Besides the usual way of finding repute or disrepute from lagna and the 10 th , we find such also
from elsewhere, such as Ravi in the 6 th , famous (कीितर्मान ् ); Mars in the 6 th well-known
(ूिसः) ् Budha in the 7 th , famous (कीितर्मान);
