threat to golf courses as we know them <strong>and</strong> potentially to the<br />

golf industry.<br />

Deteriorating water quality;<br />

o Increasing salinity<br />

o High sodium<br />

o High bicarbonates<br />

As golf courses are forced to use low quality water the<br />

Introducing more salt tolerant grasses.<br />

High level <strong>of</strong> soil management.<br />

o<br />

Subsoil drainage.<br />

projects as well as existing golf courses.<br />
