A Choice of Rooms to Complement
Your Special Day
Bosworth Hall holds a Civil Wedding Licence that covers
Cromptons, Wolston Lounge and the Library.
Cromptons is perfect for a smaller wedding catering
from 10 to 70 guests. This light and intimate room is
beautifully decorated with lovely views across
the parkland.
The Wolston Lounge is steeped in history and
character. For larger parties of up to 120 guests in the
oak panelled main reception room of the old house with
its magnificent fireplace provides an elegant setting for
Civil Ceremony.
Alternatively, should you choose a church ceremony,
a wide range of rooms at Bosworth Hall can host superb
wedding celebrations.
The Harcourt Suite is one of our most popular rooms
with a maximum capacity of 60 guests, and with its high
ornately carved ceiling, pink walls and floor to ceiling
sash windows, provides the perfect and most elegant
setting for an intimate Wedding Breakfast. Overlooking
the parkland to the front of the hotel, it is reached by
the impressive main carved staircase which provides a
beautiful backdrop for your wedding day photographs.
Situated on the ground floor, The Bosworth Lounge is
a cosy room with a maximum capacity of 60 guests and
has direct access to the terrace and gardens.
The Tollemache Suite is a delightful air conditioned,
wood panelled room with its own private bar and
lounge area and can seat up to 140 guests. In the
evening a party of up to 200 can gather to continue
your celebrations.
The stylish Marquee is available from May to September
and provides a wonderful backdrop for a summer
wedding. It has a minimum capacity of 75 and a
maximum of 120.
A more recent addition to the Hotel, the Britannia Suite
is located above Spindles, the hotel health club and
is our largest banqueting suite and can accommodate
220 guests. It has its own private bar, kitchens
and cloakrooms.
Whatever the size of your celebration and whichever
room you use, the venue’s experienced team will
provide an unrivalled level of service. Children are very
welcome at Bosworth Hall and special menu options are
available upon request.

The Wedding Package and Evening Buffet
The Wedding package is suitable for
weddings of 50 guests or more and
comprises a Wedding Breakfast with
3 course meal, followed by an Evening
Reception – often including additional
guests – with finger buffet which is charged
additionally. This inclusive package is
charged per head and includes:
• Room hire for the Wedding
Breakfast and Evening Reception
– these may be two different
rooms depending on your numbers.
• Three course meal with coffee
and chocolates.
• A reception glass of Bucks Fizz
either on your arrival from church or
following your Civil Ceremony.
• Two glasses of wine with your meal.
• A glass of sparkling wine to toast the
happy couple.
• Table flowers for the Wedding
Breakfast to suit the colour scheme

Cancellation Policy
If you are cancelling in full, payment is due @ 65% of any contracted food and beverage amounts
and 90% of any contracted room hire.
If the Hotel subsequently resells the date any monies paid due to cancellation will be refunded.

Bosworth Hall Hotel is a magnificent setting for
weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and many
other celebrations.
A Civil Wedding Ceremony
When you have decided on your venue and have
provisionally booked the date for your Wedding
Reception you should secure a provisional booking
for the date and time for your marriage with the
Superintendent Registrar at County Hall, Glenfield,
Leicester – telephone 0116 2656565
Commitment Ceremony
A Commitment Ceremony is a meaningful and
dignified ceremony for all adult couples. Each ceremony
is unique and each individual ceremony is conducted
with a Celebrant working closely with the couple.
The Celebrant who conducts your ceremony will not
be acting in an official capacity and the ceremony has
no legal status.
Civil Partnership
The Civil Partnership Bill was passed on 18th November
2004 and enables same - sex couples to obtain legal
recognition of their relationship by forming a Civil
Partnership. The Ceremony is conducted and
registered by a Registrar in the same way as a Civil
Marriage Ceremony.
Renewal of Marriage Vows
A Renewal of Vows ceremony may be arranged for any
married couple wishing to celebrate their marriage by
renewing the vows they made to each other on their
wedding day. Bosworth Hall Hotel is as perfect for a
Renewal of Vows as it is for a Wedding Ceremony and
celebration in a variety of rooms.
Whatever your choice of ceremony or reception a
very warm welcome awaits you from people who are
genuinely pleased to greet you and to ensure a most
successful and happy event.

The Top Table
The Top Table arrangement facing your guests should
normally read from left to right: Chief Bridesmaid,
Groom’s Father, Bride’s Mother, Groom, Bride, Bride’s
Father, Groom’s Mother, Best Man.
The Receiving Line
The Receiving Line is courteous, practical and a great
way to ensure you see everyone. Normally, when the
Bride’s parents have sent out invitations, they can be
regarded as the Host and Hostess and should be first
in line to receive the guests.
Grace
The Toastmaster may say grace if required after
escorting the Bride and Groom to their places at the
top table. The toastmaster will introduce someone
selected by the Bride and Groom to say grace if
required. Sometimes grace is not said.
The First Toast
The First Toast is the duty and privilege of the Bride’s
father, but where this cannot be the case a close relative
or family friend may give this very special toast to……
The Bride and Bridegroom
The Bridegroom responds to this toast on behalf of
himself and his Bride. It is also the Bridegroom’s duty
to make the second toast to……
The Bridesmaids
The Best Man, on behalf of the Bridesmaids, responds
to this toast. It is his duty to read out selected
messages of congratulations. It is not traditional for the
Best Man to repeat the toast to the Bride and Groom.
