BOOT APPLICATION 

1. Open the boot and fold back the EverGrip 

tabs. This allows you to correctly position 

the boot on the horse without interference. 

(Note: Each boot is marked with either a 

“Left” or a “Right” on the inside of the boot.) 

2. Align the boot with the horse’s leg and 

position the darts of the boot with the fetlock 

area of horse. (Note: The boot will “cup” the 

fetlock joint when placed correctly.) 

3. Position the second strap of the EverGrip 

tab. This allows the boot to be moved up and 

down and side to side for a better fit. 

4. Position the top strap of the EverGrip tab 

snug on the body of the boot. Repeat this 

with the third strap. Do not allow the boot to 

“gap” around the leg. This “gap” acts as a 

collection point for dirt and debris. 

5. Bring the suspensor y strap underneath 

the horse’s fetlock, around to the front of 

the boot and apply the EverGrip tab at a 

45 -degree angle to the leg. This creates 

the protective sling. (Note: Make sure this 

strap is placed completely below the fetlock 

joint and pulled tight to create a wrinkle-free 

supportive sling.) 

6. Readjust all straps so the boot is snug 

and contoured to the horse’s cannon bone. 

(Note: The third strap may be at a slight 

downward angle to ensure a snug, wrinklefree 

fit.)

BLUEKOOL CARE AND 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR BANDAGES: 

1. Remove from the tub and, if 

new, remove the outside film 

from the wrap. 

2. Unroll the bandage from the 

plastic core. 

3. Place the bandage around the 

injured area. Be sure the end of 

the wrap is on top of another 

layer and hold for 10 to 20 

seconds to form a secure bond. 

You may use gauze or vet wrap 

for extra support. 

4. To wrap a larger area, use a 

second wrap. 

5. Do not freeze. 

Note: Do not use BlueKool products if they 

are dehydrated or feel dry to the touch. 

Do not place an outerwrap over bandage 

as this will slow down the evaporation 

process. BlueKool is not recommended 

for use on open wounds. Run under cold 

water to rehydrate when the bandage 

starts to dry out. To store for later use, roll 

back onto the plastic core and store in 

a sealed bag. For best results, store your 

BlueKool in a refrigerator.

Pro Equine Products’ Sport Boots provide the most effective 

all-around protection available for today’s equine athletes. 

Our advanced Patented Sling Technology (PST) creates a 

two-fold support and protection layer to the fetlock, cannon 

bone, tendons, and ligaments to reduce the lateral torque 

that causes injury. 

Every horse owner from every discipline has specific needs,

OUR GUARANTEE 

Our products are guaranteed against defects in materials 

and workmanship for 12 months from the date of purchase. 

We will repair or replace, at our option, any of our 

protective leg boots which have a noticeable and verifiable 

manufacturer’s defect, provided they are cleaned and 

washed when returned. 

Damage inflicted by omnivorous horses or other unusual 

abuse is not covered. Products returned to Pro Equine 

Products within this guarantee period, with proof of purchase 

date, will be repaired or replaced. Pro Equine Products 

makes no further warranty and assumes no other liability, 

expressed or implied, beyond the above guarantee. A 

warranty registration card is included in the packages of all 

Pro Equine Products’ protective boots. 

CLEANING DIRECTIONS 

Pro Equine Products recommends the following method for 

cleaning your protective boots: 

1. Wash your products by hand or use a hose with a pressure 

n nozzle to spray dirt from boots. 

2. If necessary, use a mild liquid soap to help remove excess 

n dirt and stains. 

3. Rinse with cold water and hang to dry. 

4. Do not put products in washing machines or dryers. Doing 

n so voids all manufacturer warranties.
