CoCut Software exclusively available from ArtSystems
Eurosystems has appointed ArtSystems the exclusive UK distributor for CoCut
Software from September 2004. CoCut is a range of professional signage
enhancements for CorelDraw, Illustrator, Freehand and AutoCAD. The plug-ins are
specially designed for signmakers requiring print and cut support in various software
packages and, with advanced welding options, enables multi-colour graphics to be
instantly plotter ready.
The range comprises CoCut Standard, CoCut Professional and CoCut MultiTool and
supports all common cutters including various optical systems such as Summa
OPOS.
With the CoCut Standard and Professional programs signmakers can scale,
duplicate, mirror and flip images and objects. They include Plot Manager and
Advanced Easy Weed borders and increased productivity by allowing plots to run in
the background while the user continues to work. CoCut Professional has special
graphic tools for signmaking, for instance: automatic alignment for contour cut on the
plotter without registration marks, automatic pencil thickness conversion into cuttable
contour lines, POWERweed and FOTOcut.
CoCut MultiTool incorporates all the functions and cutting routines from CoCut
Professional but the increased number of features make it ideal for driving leather,
textile, milling and engraving machines and flat-bed plotters. The Colour Layer Box
has various cutting routines that make it possible to rout and engrave full surfaces in
different layers, supporting cutting plotters such as Zünd, Wild and Summa T1010
dual-head. When producing packaging for example, the CoCut MultiTool plug in
enables the operation of tools individually in several runs or automatically in a single
run within the colour layer box technology.
