• <strong>Students</strong> may be removed from participation in the exercises if they engage in any behavior that<br />

disrupts the event or which causes unnecessary distraction to other students, parents or visitors.<br />

<strong>Students</strong> who do not participate in graduation exercises <strong>and</strong> who have completed all the requirements <strong>for</strong> a<br />

diploma may pickup their diploma from their school the following day or thereafter.<br />

Schools may impose the following sanctions against students <strong>for</strong> non-payment of fees, charges <strong>and</strong> tuition:<br />

1. Denial of participation in commencement ceremony;<br />

2. Denial of right to obtain a yearbook;<br />

3. Denial of participation in extracurricular activities;<br />

4. Denial of registration in elective courses;<br />

(if courses or hours are not required <strong>for</strong> graduation)<br />

5. Suit against the parents or guardians.<br />

Schools may impose other sanctions which do not interfere with a resident student's right to attend a common<br />

school. Schools may not withhold grade cards <strong>and</strong> transcripts as a sanction <strong>for</strong> non-payment of fees.<br />
