Who is eligible to attend a <strong>Peer</strong> <strong>Interview</strong><br />
Members who have passed (or been exempt) the Part III Examinations, including<br />
Award Writing;<br />
Members who have passed the Accelerated <strong>Fellowship</strong> Programme, including Award<br />
Writing.<br />
Objective <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Interview</strong><br />
To enable the candidate to demonstrate an:<br />
Understanding and appreciation <strong>of</strong> the workings <strong>of</strong> the CIArb and the Branches and<br />
<strong>of</strong> how the new Fellow can contribute.<br />
Understanding and appreciation <strong>of</strong> the objectives <strong>of</strong> the CIArb and the Branch.<br />
Understanding and appreciation <strong>of</strong> the CIArb’s Code <strong>of</strong> Pr<strong>of</strong>essional and Ethical<br />
Conduct and its application.<br />
Programme<br />
4pm (approx) – Registration<br />
4.15pm – CIArb presentation and discussion<br />
Followed by <strong>Peer</strong> <strong>Interview</strong>s
<strong>Interview</strong> Fee<br />
The fee is AED 1,000, excluding the fee <strong>for</strong> transferring from Member to Fellow. See<br />
Registration below <strong>for</strong> how to make payment.<br />
Your acceptance <strong>for</strong> Fellow Grade will be advised to you within one month <strong>of</strong> the interviews,<br />
by email, and your signed registration <strong>for</strong>ms will be available thereafter. To complete the<br />
process, you will need to send the signed <strong>for</strong>ms to CIArb, 12 Bloomsbury Square, London,<br />
WC1A 2LP, United Kingdom, along with the appropriate transfer fee. Cheques should be<br />
made payable to the ’<strong>Chartered</strong> <strong>Institute</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Arbitrators</strong>’.<br />
Please ensure that your 2012 membership subscription has been paid in full otherwise you<br />
are not eligible to attend the <strong>Peer</strong> <strong>Interview</strong>.<br />
