Who is eligible to attend a Peer Interview
Members who have passed (or been exempt) the Part III Examinations, including
Award Writing;
Members who have passed the Accelerated Fellowship Programme, including Award
Writing.
Objective of the Interview
To enable the candidate to demonstrate an:
Understanding and appreciation of the workings of the CIArb and the Branches and
of how the new Fellow can contribute.
Understanding and appreciation of the objectives of the CIArb and the Branch.
Understanding and appreciation of the CIArb’s Code of Professional and Ethical
Conduct and its application.
Programme
4pm (approx) – Registration
4.15pm – CIArb presentation and discussion
Followed by Peer Interviews

Interview Fee
The fee is AED 1,000, excluding the fee for transferring from Member to Fellow. See
Registration below for how to make payment.
Your acceptance for Fellow Grade will be advised to you within one month of the interviews,
by email, and your signed registration forms will be available thereafter. To complete the
process, you will need to send the signed forms to CIArb, 12 Bloomsbury Square, London,
WC1A 2LP, United Kingdom, along with the appropriate transfer fee. Cheques should be
made payable to the ’Chartered Institute of Arbitrators’.
Please ensure that your 2012 membership subscription has been paid in full otherwise you
are not eligible to attend the Peer Interview.
