Grandstand Roof „Estádio Algarve“, <strong>Faro</strong>/Loulé<br />
The Southern and Eastern grandstands of the new stadium each will be roofed over by a roof structure<br />
which is suspended from main rope trusses and supported by a spaciously stretching steel arch truss binder<br />
concept. A membrane material, high-tensile uPVC/PES fabric with a dirt-repelling final PVDF coating is being<br />
used.<br />
A total of 32 membrane fields with a width of 14.4 metres each and lengths of 31 to 45 metres will be roofed.<br />
The covered base is 10,168 sq.m. For the implementation of the project, a construction time of 8 months is<br />
planned.<br />
