This HeatSet ® overlaminating film is specially designed<br />
for laminating UV printed images on rigid boards and<br />
PVC. The vinyl conforms beautifully to the printed<br />
image and avoids the “tenting” or air pockets around<br />
raised ink areas as a result of the custom formulation.<br />
Optimum application temperature is 185 °F.<br />

Backing Films and Other Materials<br />
Backing films are typically used in encapsulation<br />
style applications on the back of images to increase<br />
thickness, stiffness or improved handling. Great for<br />
adding rigidity and reducing show through for pop<br />
up display graphics, POP displays, banners and other<br />
graphics. Kraft paper and single sided release paper<br />
are useful tools for mounting and laminating.<br />

Overlaminating Films<br />
HeatSet ® or heat-assist laminating films are often<br />
described as a hybrid between thermal and pressuresensitive<br />
films. MediaShield films bond well to inkjet<br />
output with high ink coverage—even on photo gloss<br />
paper and digital photo laser output. MediaShield<br />
laminated graphics can be handled, rolled or trimmed<br />
immediately after processing. Optimal application<br />
temperature is 185 °F.<br />
