SUBJECT: INFORMATION FOR END OF JAN -APRIL SEMESTER

This is to inform you of the following:
1. The last meal will be breakfast of Sat 27 th April 2013; You are required to check out of your rooms by 10.00 am.
Unauthorized extension of stay in the university accommodation will attract market rates of Ksh 800 per night.
2. Final year students are asked to securely keep their copy of dully completed Clearance Form for presenting to JKUAT as a
precondition for release of your certificate.
3. The Final year class which completes exams this month of April 2013 will graduate on 29 th November 2013.

4. First years (2011 Cohort) will proceed for long holidays until Monday 28 th August 2013.
5. 2 nd YEARS (2010 Cohort – Jan 2012 Intake), 3 rd (2009 Cohort-(May, 2011 INTAKE)), 4 th (2008 Cohort -(May, 2010
INTAKE)) YRS will report back on 6 th May 2013.
6. Diploma students, apart from those who will go out for attachment, will report back on 6 th May 2013.
7. Certificate in IT students who qualify to proceed with stage II DIT are expected to report back on 6 th May 2013.
8. Students in Bridging Course in Mathematics will proceed to wait for their results; those who qualify may apply to join in May
2013 for those aspiring to do a diploma course and in August 2013 for those aspiring to do a degree course. For further info
consult the office of your COD or the undersigned.
9. All Students advised to collect the fees structures from the departments.
10. CONFIRM DETAILS OF OUR NEW FEES PAYMENT ACCOUNT FROM FINANCE
