Massed Ringing
This year there will be 10 massed ringing pieces — for the first time
the Hong Kong Guild has been invited to submit music.
Every massed ringing piece will be practised each day (Tuesday to
Friday) with a last rehearsal on Saturday before the Final Concert
at about 4pm.
The conductors, selected by each Guild, will have equal time
allocations.
Symposium Choirs
Delegates can choose to play in the Symposium Handbell Choir to
be led by Fred Gramann and they will ring in the Final Concert.
There will also be a Junior Symposium Handbell Choir, led by
Malcolm Wilson.
Delegates choosing to play in the choir will not be able to participate
in other workshops.
Team/Choir Solo Performances
The Symposium schedule will include time for teams/choirs to play
their solo pieces (the time allowed for each team/choir will depend
on the number of teams/choirs asking to perform).
There will also be an opportunity for each team/choir performing to
rehearse their pieces before their solo performance.
