Assessment<br />

Students are assessed through a combination of ;<br />

1) Course Work:<br />

Continuous Assessment Tests (CATS)<br />

Business Case Studies<br />

Presentations<br />

2) Examinations:<br />

These are taken at the end of each semester.<br />

Timings<br />

The timings are designed to suit both Full-time and Part-time<br />

students. The class times are as follows:<br />

Full-time Classes: 8.30 am – 4.00 pm (Monday to Friday)<br />

Part-time Classes: 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm (Monday to Friday)<br />

& 8.30 am – 4.00 pm on Saturday.<br />

Registration Requirements<br />

Fully completed admission <strong>for</strong>m, two passport-size<br />

photographs <strong>for</strong> new students or one <strong>for</strong> continuing students<br />

and a photocopy of school certificate / result slip is required.<br />

The registration, sending of entries <strong>for</strong> examinations, results or<br />

any other correspondence should be done through the <strong>College</strong>.<br />

Background<br />

The University of Greenwich is a major modern UK university<br />

undergraduate degree programmes being offered at the<br />

University. The Business School in the University of Greenwich,<br />

development. It awards BA (Hons) Business Studies to students<br />

who successfully complete the full programme.<br />

Entry Requirements<br />

Qualifications <strong>for</strong> entry will be assessed on an individual basis <strong>for</strong><br />

each applicant. The basic minimum qualifications are:<br />

A’ level graduates.<br />

KCSE Mean grade C+ and above with a minimum of grade<br />

C in Maths and English.<br />

Degree owners who may want to pursue a career in<br />

business.<br />

Any other program of equivalent academic standards, as<br />

<strong>for</strong>mally recognized by the University of Greenwich.<br />

International Baccalaureate (IB) with atleast 30 points.<br />
