CIRCUIT-TEST Catalog. 

CIRCUIT-TEST Electronics was established in 1989 

as a division of RP Electronics to distribute test 

equipment, AC/DC adapters, prototyping supplies 

and electronic kits to electronic dealers across 

Canada. 100% Canadian owned and operated, 

we are proud to support Canadian businesses 

from coast to coast. 

In 1999 we moved into our larger more centralized 

headquarters in Burnaby, just minutes from 

downtown Vancouver. This building gives us nearly 

10,000 square feet to carry our extensive inventory. 

Many of our products originate from our 

Asian manufacturing alliances where CSA/CUL/UL 

approved products such as AC Adapters, Fans, 

Soldering irons and Test Equipment are manufactured.

CIRCUIT-TEST 

The Circuit-Test Sweep Function Generator is a versatile signal source 

which can be used as a function, pulse or sweep generator. These 

generators feature sine, square, triangle and pulse waveform outputs 

covering a frequency range of 0.02Hz to 2MHz. Using the built-in digital 

frequency counter (10Hz to 2MHz) ensures simple yet accurate frequency 

control. Other features include a built-in continuously variable 

DC offset and variable attenuation. With these features the SWF-6000 

or 7000 can be used for many applications in both analogue and digital 

electronics.

This function generator is an indispensable piece of test 

equipment for any electronic technician or hobbyist. Its 

design is based on the popular XR2206 monolithic function 

generator IC capable of producing high quality sine, square 

(or pulse), and triangle waveforms. The function generator 

operates over four overlapping frequency ranges: 1Hz to 

100Hz, 10Hz to 1KHz, 100Hz to 10KHz, and 1KHz to 100KHz. 

In each range setting, the desired frequency and amplitude

This circuit consists of 2 timers: a delay timer and an ON period

and then to turn off the device after the preset ON period

A cyclic timer with independently adjustable ON and OFF

FIXED PERIOD CYCLIC TIMER 

This circuit is a cyclic timer with a fixed total ON + OFF period

RESTART TIMER 

This is a restartable timer which is activated when the push 

button switch is pressed. The timer will remain activated 

until the preset time duration. If the switch is pressed again, 

the timing cycle will restart again, regardless of the remaining 

time from the previous cycle. The circuit allows for two 

maximum timing durations: one from a few seconds to 5 

minutes; and the another from a few seconds to 50 minutes.

CAR ALARM SYSTEM 

A hidden key switch (not included) located inside the car initially
