History & Milestones<br />
Right from the beginning, modesty and technology acquisition and indigenization<br />
have remained the core values of our company. In 1978, when Mr Iftikhar<br />
Hussain Qureshi returned from Germany, armed with a degree in engineering,<br />
he began taking a keen interest in opportunities presented by the business<br />
environment. Being a shrewd decision maker, he set about establishing his<br />
company and started work from home. After almost a decade of expansion<br />
and diversification, a need was felt to move into a more spacious place. The<br />
present administrative block and the adjoining work area provide 150,000 sq<br />
ft of space and a capacity to bring out 500 special vehicles every year.

Our Fuelling and Refueling Division caters to a<br />
wide variety of application ranging from transportation<br />
of aircraft-fuel to fuelling to the aircraft. These vehicles<br />
and equipment meet all the aviation standards and<br />
are supplied with aluminum tanks.<br />
MERAJ Fueller and Refueller are made according to<br />
NFPA 385 and NFPA 407.

In this age of fierce competition, manpower alone is not enough.<br />
As we grow, we make sure our men are fully equipped and<br />
adequately supported by state-of-the-art machines. Constant<br />
upgrading helps in keeping ourselves abreast of latest<br />
developments. Recently we have commissioned two CNC<br />
machines to serve our increasingly diversified clientele. As a<br />
consequence of this development we have formed a new design<br />
department by inducting professional talent for preparing modular<br />
designs. The same department also caters to interchangeability<br />
and ensures precision of manufacturing and fabrication as per<br />
well-known international standards like ASME, ASTM, ADR,<br />
API, AWS and WPS.<br />
In-house Testing: We also carry out testing of fire fighting<br />
pumps and equipment in simulated conditions. Our Magnetic<br />
flux flow meters, and pressure gauges ensure that all tests<br />
comply with latest NFPA, EN and BSS standards.
