<strong>VASODRYL</strong> EXPECTORANT<br />
Chlorpheniramine Maleate binds to the histamine H1 receptor. This block the action of<br />
endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms<br />
brought on by histamine.<br />
Sodium Citrate is believed to increase bronchial secretion by salt action. They are direct acting.<br />
Ammonium Chloride is gastric irritant but reflex enhance bronchial secretion & sweating.<br />
<strong>VASODRYL</strong> PLUS<br />
Chlorpheniramine Maleate binds to the histamine H1 receptor. This block the action of<br />
endogenous histamine, which subsequently leads to temporary relief of the negative symptoms<br />
brought on by histamine.<br />
Dextromethorphan HBr controls cough by depressing the medullary cough center.
INDICATIONS<br />

Cough for respiratory allergic states<br />
Expectoration cough<br />
<strong>VASODRYL</strong> PLUS AND <strong>VASODRYL</strong> PEDIATRIC <strong>SYRUP</strong><br />
For dry and irritating cough<br />
For pediatric patient cough<br />
DOSAGE<br />
<strong>VASODRYL</strong> EXPECTORANT<br />
Adult:<br />
1-2 teaspoonfuls (5-10ml) 3-4 times daily<br />
Children: ½ -1 teaspoonful (2.5-5ml) 3-4 times daily<br />
or as directed by the physician<br />
<strong>VASODRYL</strong> PLUS (Anti-tussive)<br />
Adult:<br />
1-2 teaspoonfuls (5-10ml) 3-4 times daily or as directed by the physician<br />
<strong>VASODRYL</strong> PEDIATRIC <strong>SYRUP</strong><br />
Children up to 6years:<br />
½ teaspoonfuls (2.5ml) 3-4 times daily<br />
6-12 years: 1 teaspoonful (5ml) 3-4 times daily or as directed by the physician<br />
SIDE EFFECTS/ADVERSE EFFECTS<br />
