Objectives<br />

Managed jointly by KIAT and CDTI<br />

• Primary goal: To foster the technology cooperation between entities of Korea and<br />

Spain through joint research, development and technology transfer projects<br />

• Other goals:<br />

– To create a bilateral framework within the two countries for the support of projects<br />

generation.<br />

– Attract technology-based companies to the interaction between the two countries.<br />

– Rise the competitiveness of the companies through the development of joint<br />

Successful cases under KSI Program<br />

• In current year, 8 projects have been approved in:<br />

environment, agriculture, medical equipment and medicine,<br />

construction, and <strong>ICT</strong>,<br />

• Resulting in a mobilized amount totaling of $13 million,<br />

• While providing access for Spanish companies to a CDTI<br />

contribution with preferential conditions<br />

• Out of this total, 2 projects were in the <strong>ICT</strong> sector, with a total<br />

mobilized of $5 million<br />
