The Cascading Effect
Just as one vitamin or one mineral is not the key to total health, neither
is just one antioxidant the key to effective free-radical elimination.

Active Ingredients

• Rosemary extract’s unique cascading power revolves around carnosic
acid. After this powerful molecule has extracted a free radical, it
changes its structure and becomes carnosol. Carnosol also extracts a
free radical and then changes again, becoming rosmanol. Rosmanol
continues the free radical scavenging until galdosol is created,
further continues the scavenging process. All of this is accomplished
beginning with just one powerful antioxidant molecule and is but one
example of the numerous cascades found in Cascading Revenol.
• Evening Primrose seed extract is a native plant of North America
and the indigenous peoples prized the seeds as a valuable medicine.
Recently, Neways discovered a unique source of Evening Primrose
seed extract called ProenOthera®, which is high in polyphenolic
compounds including gallic acid, catechin, OPCs, procyanidin B3,
ellagic acid and pentagalloylglucose. It is unusual to find these last
two ingredients in other antioxidants and they have proven to be very
potent free radical scavengers.
• Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) is needed to regenerate the antioxidant
effects of vitamin E, preventing this well-known vitamin from
becoming a free radical itself.
• Vitamin C is then regenerated through the cascading effect to its

out by other ingredients in the never-ending cascading combinations

• Bioflavanoid complex, selenomethionine and potassium sulfate are

• Green tea is known to assist against oxidation of lipids. Green tea also demonstrates properties that support
overall body health.
• Turmeric extract, with another high curcuminoid content, is one of the most versatile and well-studied
antioxidants of the last decade. Curcuminoids are able to not only neutralise existing free radicals, but also
