Project Management for Program Managers & Leaders
This one day seminar provides a framework and a vocabulary on Project Management directed toward
Project and Program Managers who must deal not only with today’s complex systems requirements,
planning and tracking activities, but must also be able to manage and control subcontractors and/or other
suppliers of parts of the project’s deliverables or services. The seminar also addresses the added project
management complexity where the project is divided across multi-sites that may be in different countries,
with very different cultures.

SPI 2000 CONFERENCE PROGRAMME AND REGISTRATION DOCUMENT
General
SPI 2000 comprises one tutorial day
on 4th December 2000 and two full
conference days on 5th and 6th December
2000. Included in the tutorial day will be a
wide-ranging selection of half-day tutorials
running parallel in the morning and
afternoon. In parallel with both conference
days there will be a Table Top Exhibition
and Tools Fair.
Registration
Delegates should register for this
conference by completing the form
provided in this leaflet. Delegates can
register for the conference and tutorial
days as one package or can decide to
attend either the conference or tutorial
day separately.
Venue
SPI 2000 will be held at the
Quality Hotel 11, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Accommodation
Accommodation has been arranged at the
conference venue (Quality Hotel 11).
Please refer to the Hotel Accommodation

preferential rates available to SPI 2000
delegates. Delegates are urged to make
their bookings before 12th November 2000
as accommodation will be subject to
availability after that date. Delegates should

The conference will be held in English.
Publication
Papers/abstracts/slides will be included in
the conference preprint which will be
distributed to all delegates on registration
at the conference.

The SPI 2000 organizers and
conference co-chairs reserve the right to

programmes published in this brochure

Cannot Attend
If you are unable to attend the conference,
the conference materials (speaker handouts
- for both tutorials and the
SPI 2000 conference, attendee lists,
SPI 2000 Proceedings) are available for
purchase. While not intended as a
substitute for actual attendance, these
materials would at least provide the written
record of the event and allow you to keep
your organization’s library up to date. The
cost of providing this non-attendee package
is £450.00 (including postage and packing).
