david novak is Chairman and CEO of Yum! Brands, Inc., the world’s
largest restaurant company with more than 36,000 restaurants in over
110 countries and parent of KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Long John Silver’s
and A&W Restaurants with 1.4 million associates. In 2008, Yum! Brands
generated more than $11 billion in revenues and delivered 14 percent
Earnings Per Share (EPS) growth, marking the seventh straight year the
Company delivered at least 13 percent growth and exceeded its 10
percent EPS growth target. Outside the U.S., the Yum! system opened more than four new
restaurants each day of the year, making it the largest retail developer in the world.

David is a Director of JPMorgan Chase & Co., the Yum! Brands Foundation, The Friends of
the World Food Program, and The Business Council. He is the recipient of the national 2008
Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship.
