<strong>Horn</strong> <strong>Antenna</strong><br />
The BMA series of horn antennas are designed using<br />
microstrip techniques for optimum gain in the frequency<br />
bands between 1.7 GHz and 2.7 GHz. The antennas are<br />
ideal for use in stadium to truck links, helicopter uplinks,<br />
and portable relay stations.<br />

The BMA-10H horn is housed within an aluminum enclosure<br />
with radome, and attached to a 1/2” aluminum base tapped<br />
with four #10--32 threads to secure the antenna to the<br />
mount. The horn provides 10dBi of gain and is available at<br />
up to 500 MHz beamwidth. The weight of the horn is less<br />
than two pounds.<br />
A fiberglass extender is available for the BMA-10H and clips<br />
on for easy addition of 6dB gain. The BMA-16HE horn plus<br />
extender provides 16 dBi of gain but limits the bandwidth<br />
of the antenna to 200 MHz. The weight of the horn plus<br />
extender is less than three pounds.<br />
The antennas are available in linear or circular polarization<br />
and can accommodate up to 20 watts. VSWR is 1.5:1 and<br />
input connection via type “N” or SMA connectors. Hand<br />
held mounts, L-brackets, and pole mounts are available.<br />
