WHAT IS U-LINK PROGRAM
U-link is a transfer bound program that gives the opportunity to students to receive a guaranteed
admission to UCI. Students will receive academic support, one-on-one counseling, and will be guided
through the transfer process.
*Although students will receive a guaranteed admission to UCI, students may apply to any institution of
their choice and still participate in U-Link.

SAC enrollment priority through EOPS and Freshmen

UCI library privileges
Opportunity to be part of UCI through research opportunities
U-link students are often selected for Santa Ana
scholarships
U-link students are likely to transfer to UC/CSU within 2-3
years
Program Requirements
All students must:
Complete required SAC courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA
(additional GPA & course requirements for certain majors)
Agree to release academic progress information to UCI
Apply for financial aid & scholarships when eligible
Complete transfer preparation courses within 3 years
Meet with a U-link counselor once per semester
Complete an additional U-link activity each semester
Complete 100 hours of Service Learning (informal
internship)
Complete 60 UC transfer units
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible for English 101 (English Composition)
Eligible for Math 081 (Algebra II or Intermediate Algebra)
Must want to transfer to a university

All U-Link applicants must attend a program orientation at Santa Ana College. For more information or to
