Electronic Car Auction
Prague, 21 September 2010
Starting this week, Toyota Financial Services Czech s.r.o. (TFSCZ) launches
a system for electronic auctions of seized and returned cars.
Last month, TFSCZ introduced the TFS ONLINE software package for end users
– the Repayment Calculator, including Agreement Pre-Approval, and the
Insurance Calculator, making it possible to conclude an insurance policy.
Along with the customer section, the company expanded the part of its system
intended for its partners (Toyota car dealers) with the Decision Maker
software, designed for adopting pre-approved agreements from the customer
website and their further processing, even conclusion of leasing, credit and
insurance agreements at the dealer’s showroom.
As part of its long-term strategy on electronic services, TFSCZ is now
launching another application for its partners: the Car Auction.
“The Electronic Car Auction system is going to enable our business partners to
purchase from us, in an entirely transparent way, any car for which we have the
right of disposal,” says Jan Hovorka, Operation Manager at Toyota Financial
Services Czech, adding, “These will be not only cars seized from unpaying
customers but mostly cars that we get returned from operative leasing.”
The electronic auction system is going to not only accelerate the sales process
and sale of cars at market prices to increased numbers of buyers, but also
ensure transparency of the entire sales process for everyone interested in
buying these cars.

Besides auction clients from amid the Toyota dealer network, TFSCZ expects
other business entities doing car sales to participate in the system.
The application is available from www.toyotafinance.cz, Dealer Centre section,
after entering authorisation details.
Toyota Financial Services Czech s.r.o. is a captive leasing company of the
Toyota and Lexus car manufacturer, on the Czech market since 2000. It is part
of the Toyota Financial Services international group, active in 33 countries of
the world. At present, we manage around 6,000 leasing and credit agreements.
The basic services offered by the company are based on financial products for
end customers – credit, financial and operative leasing, insurance products –
insurance in instalments, for cash customers and following the termination of
contractual relations with Toyota Financial Services. We also provide financial
services to the Toyota and Lexus dealer network and cooperate with Toyota
Material Handling CZ, s.r.o. on financing Toyota and BT material handling
equipment.
