ABOUT THIS MISSION
Pennsylvania’s Center for Trade Development (CTD), in
collaboration with the African & Caribbean Business Council
(ACBC), invite your company to join a trade development
mission to Gabon and Cameroon. CTD’s mission is to help
firms build new sales channels into foreign markets by
providing market research and business introductions.
Pennsylvania companies interested in these fast growing,
emerging markets will have the opportunity to meet with
pre-screened businesses and contacts, and participate in
networking events and briefings organized by the ACBC and
its in-country contacts.

closed in the near term.
Build business relationships with business owners, private
sector decision makers and ministerial leaders from Gabon
and Cameroon.
Obtain a firsthand understanding of the market
needs, development opportunities, business challenges
and solutions.
Receive pre-screened business meetings with interested
distributors, agents and customers, etc.
Navigate your way to profitable trade and business partnerships
in Gabon and Cameroon and leave with relationships, MOUs,
Letters of Intent and contracts when possible.
Receive assistance from the ACBC in the follow-up process
after the mission.

WHY GABON AND CAMEROON
Cameroon and Gabon have demonstrated a very stable
political government and steady economic growth since 1990.
Gabon is one of the most prosperous countries in sub-
Saharan Africa, with the highest HDI and the third highest
GDP per capita in the region.
Gabon's oil revenues have given it a strong per capita GDP
of $8,600, extremely high for the region.
Cameroon's per-capita GDP was estimated at US$2,300 in
2008, one of the 10 highest in sub-Saharan Africa.
Cameroon has enjoyed a decade of strong economic
performance, with its GDP growing at an average of four
percent per year.
Cameroon's natural resources are very well suited to
agriculture and arboriculture (extensive commercial
cultivation of bananas, cocoa, oil palms, rubber and tea).

No foreign produced items may be included, except items from foreign countries that have been processed or value-added
in Pennsylvania.

In the event that the participating company withdraws from participation in this event, the participating company will be
subject to forfeiture of the entire registration fee.
