Conclusions • Mouth is connected to the rest of the body. • Older adults demonstrate the connection between systemic diseases and medications on oral health more readily than other populations • Presence of oral infection & inflammation can exacerbate systemic illnesses and vice versa • We need a social marketing campaign about the relationship b/w oral disease & systemic diseases
