When IV delivery is difficult or drug
delivery to the lung is preferred, the
LMA MADett can come to the rescue
delivering rapidly-effective pulmonary
medications. The LMA MADett delivers
exact doses of atomized medication
beyond the ETT tip. The result is higher
percentages of the drug delivered to the
pulmonary tissue than if it is nebulized
or injected into the endotracheal tube.
Introducing the LMA MADett the pulmonary drug
delivery solution that sprays medications directly
into your patient’s lungs during ventilation.
Atomizes drugs directly into the lungs at
the distal end of the endotracheal tube
• Medication is delivered beyond the ETT tip, resulting in
more rapid and higher peak blood levels than nebulized
or endotracheally injected medication. 1-3
• You control how much gets into the system
• No drug waste running down the ETT
• Delivers atomized drug directly into the lungs
• Closed system – can ventilate while delivering
drugs, no splash back
Elbow has port for ventilation bag
• Ventilation can continue without interruption
Touhy Borst valve tightens
