Converter
Battery
Output
When the mains are stable, the line
interactive UPS model uses its
power inverter in inverse operation
to recharge the accumulator.
If the mains power supply is interrupted,
the working direction is
inverted and the accumulator feeds
the power inverter. Since the converter
constantly monitors the mains
input, it can respond to failures and
correct voltage influxes quickly. The
converter series-connected to the
equipment has a filter effect to some
degree in order to react to mains
failure.
This uninterruptible power supply
technology is recommended for
many applications, especially for
those in the PC area.
Automatic bypass
In the event of supply failure, the
battery comes into operation in
place of the rectifier and provides
the required energy without interruption
for a defined time period.
Online installations provide a very
high degree of safety and are recommended
for high-grade and sensitive
equipment.
Online UPS installations have the
advantage of being able to efficiently
filter out spikes and drop-outs by
converting from alternating voltage
to direct voltage and back again to
alternating voltage.
Our online UPS installations are
standard equipped with interfaces
that enable unsupervised computers
to be automatically switched off, and
after the network is back in operation,
to be automatically switched
back on again.
requirement.
Pulsar EXtreme C
Represents compact design
and optimum protection.
- Reliable high-performance
technology
- Optimum availability
- Advanced communication
- User-friendly
- Flexible and expandable
High Performance and Reliability
Pulsar EXtreme C provides extensive
protection and optimum reliability
for your system.
Wide input voltage range
The wide-ranging input voltage of
the Pulsar EXtreme C of 120-276
V reduces switching, and as a
result, also reduces strain on the
battery. Pulsar EXtreme C optimises
the battery lifespan and calls
on the battery to operate only
when this is unavoidably neccessary,
as in the event of a power
failure.
High performance batterycharging
module
The Pulsar EXtreme C charging
module:
- Reduces the battery’s recharging
time (80% backup time in 2
hours).
- Increases the battery’s lifespan
by incorporating the modelspecific
battery parameters, the
environment temperature and
battery aging.
- Protects the battery from deepdischarging.
- Integrated power factor correction,
i.e. no system reaction.
- Prevents possible fault effects
on the system power supply
(backfeed protection).
CE and UL certified
Optimum availability
Pulsar EXtreme C guarantees the
highest possible availability
(>99.999%) for your system.
Cold start via battery
This function enables problemfree
start of your applications,
even with system power failure.
Automatic bypass
In the event of an overload or a
defect, Pulsar EXtreme C switches
the device without interruption
to the mains supply.
